Karina Daza

Karina is an indie singer-songwriter and recording artist hailing from New York City. She began her training as a vocalist, classically trained at Fordham University and The Juilliard School, as well as The Music Conservatory of Granada in Spain. She simultaneously began exploring jazz on her own time, leading her to create the jazz acapella group, "The Hot Notes," for which she played the role of a music director, arranger, and soloist. After some coursework at Berklee College of Music, Karina was inspired to move from arranging music to composing her own music.

Her music reflects her diverse musical background as she draws influence from pop, classical, latin, and jazz. Karina loves to fuse together different elements, and is constantly collaborating with artists and producers of a variety of genres. She has co-written songs with numerous musicians of almost every style. Her wide range of experience and vocal versatility have led her to be featured on various hip-hop, pop, and classical albums, and to perform at venues ranging from the famous BlueBird Cafe (Nashville, TN) to Carnegie Hall. Currently, Karina is working on her own debut EP, which is slated for a release in 2019.
